My First Christmas Party

I don't know what Christmas is yet, but have been to my first Christmas Party at Daddy's work. There were lots of little people like me running around, some people walking around dressed like those you can only see on the story books, and lots of toys and food in the party. I was really busy looking around, and trying all the fun stuff. I can not wait to show you the pictures-

Quiet but Adventurous November

Happy sixth anniversary, Mummy and Daddy!


November was a very wet month here in England. We were kind of enjoying staying at home rather than going out and about. While I spent so much time at home, my "territory" in the house has expended. Now the layout of our living room, kitchen, and dining room are all changed because Mummy and Daddy moved all the stuff that I am interested and they don't like to see me around them. How boring they are !!! But anyways, I have investigated almost all the items that I can reach. Every morning I will start from taking out all the items in the kitchen cabinets, play each item and maybe put it in my month, and then I will move to the living room, take out all the books from the shelf and pull the drawer from the coffee table. I usually redo all these many times a day.

On the days when the sun came to see us, Mummy took me out. We have been more adventurous this month, shopping is not enough for me anymore. So we took a walk in South Bank by Thames, and paid a visit to Tate museum( for our tea time), and National Gallery! Mummy believes (or hopes) I will love art, but I just fell asleep or played my toys in my pram all the time. We had great fun when we went out, I enjoy watching people walking around, car and bus driving by. I especially love to stare at people in the train or bus, they always smile friendly back to me :)

At Olive's first birthday party




Before I turned to nine month, I had my weight and height measured, I am finally 8kg now(after staying in 7 for like 3 months), and 75cm tall. I always got some comments from people first met saying I am a tall girl. Mummy always say I have very nice long legs...he he he...

Oh, you might be curious how I settle with my own room? I settle very well, which Mummy and Daddy are very happy about! Daddy came to see me in the middle of nights if I woke up and cried, and he will sing "Five little Docks" for me, depends on how good he sings, sometimes I will fall asleep, sometimes I will want to play. Anyhow, I am sleeping very well during the nights now, some good nights I can sleep like 10 hours straight! It is such a good news for Mummy and Daddy!

Moving To My Own Room

After eight months and ten days, I finally moved out from Mummy's and Daddy's room. Mummy and Daddy were talking about to move me all the time, but Mummy always had all different reasons not to move me. Today they are very determined and moved me to my own room. So my cot, dresser, books, toys and all other stuff are now well located in my pink room. I am very excited about the move, when Mummy first put me in the room, I am all happy and screaming. I look out from window to check how the view is! It is not too bad, I can see the trees of front garden and also tall buildngs from a bit far away.



Mummy is very emotional to see me staying in my own room now. Mummy misses the time when I was just born and tiny, snuggling between Mummy and Daddy in their big bed. Daddy said it feels a bit weird, because their room looks really specious now without my stuff.
Mummy said I am always welcome to come back.
I am sure I will, Mummy!

My Bigger World

Hello... sorry for the long wait..


October has been another busy month, I continue attending baby sing along, baby gym, and all sorts of baby groups. I enjoy looking at other babies, holding their arms and touching their faces. It is really fun to go to shops and parks. I also love to sleep in the buggy when we are out and about.

I still enjoy my solid food, Mummy has spent a lot of time preparing them, and I show my appreciation by eating them all! I also start feeding myself, I especially love rice cake for tea time.

Every Friday, Mummy will take me shopping, and we will have tea time at Mummy's favorite coffee shop, I have my rice cake and Mummy has her big fat cake.
October has also been a very important month for me. I have reached more development milestones-
I can now crawl around with "full" speed, I can crawl from my play area to the kitchen to give Mummy a surprised hello, or crawl by the garden door to watch Daddy doing stuff in the back garden. I think you can say I have mastered crawling!

I can also stand up by myself, with holding something around me. I am very excited about my new skill, I practice it a lot, so whatever I see that can be the aid for me to stand I put my hands on it. This is somehow not so good news for Mummy and Daddy, as I love to do it in my cot, once I found myself in the cot, I don't mean to sleep, but stand up!
